The Tooth Fairy Factory creates engaging educational products that transform dental anxiety into excitement. Through lovable characters like Buddy the Tooth, we help parents and dental professionals make oral health fun for children, laying the foundation for lifelong healthy habits.
Meet Dr. Richard J. Olin
Storyteller & Founder
For more than thirty years, Dr. Richard J. Olin has dedicated his career to creating stories and characters that help children learn through play and imagination. He discovered that children learn best when education feels like play and engages their imagination.
The Story of Buddy
Dr. Olin created Buddy the Tooth, an inquisitive, big-hearted character who first appeared in his debut book, The Story of Buddy. Through Buddy’s adventures, Dr. Olin inspires children to feel proud of themselves and build confidence through friendship and positive experiences. The whimsical illustrations were brought to life with the help of Stephanie Wexler, a gifted young artist.
My First Teeth Club™
Building on Buddy’s success, Dr. Olin developed the My First Teeth Club™ to transform the way children experience everyday moments. The club provides families with a special welcome kit designed to turn ordinary days into magical adventures, helping children feel safe, proud, and excited about growing up.
